Great question! I am uncertain whether or not deer can navigate stairs, but it is my understanding that horses cannot go down stairs, but are able to go up stairs!

I have not forgotten your question. I found a couple of videos that have deer on stairs, but have had trouble with getting them in a format to post on this page or to even view them. The descriptions talk about the deer going up and down stairs to go places or get into things, so my answer for now is yes they can. However, the only videos I saw showned them running up, but not down. Was this a trick question? Do you know something we don't know?
I will look back into it. Honestly, I dropped researching this for awhile, but will try to get a definate answer.
