doesn't work...deer eat it with milorganitre ...even hyacinthts, could it be I had it for couple of years,...but it is no longer working...look slike deer well adjusted to the smell...
From the Webmaster: it really does work well, but it does need to replaced yearly or even twice a year. It is excellent for the lawn, garden, etc, so replace it as possible.

where do you purchase this?
From the webmaster:
You can click on the Milorganite link on the milorganite page and buy it online or ask around at your local garden center. If they don't carry it, they should be able to get it.

Lasting Effects of Miloganite by: Anonymous
Could you please tell me how long the miloganite repels the deer (10 days, 2 weeks, 2 months, etc0. I am wondering how often I have to put it down. Hopefully this will work!!
Note from webmaster: The research papers (see out Milorganite page http://www.deer-departed.com/milorganite.html) used the Milorganite every two weeks and it worked. I would think you wouldn't have to apply it all over every 2 weeks. Since it is the odor that repels, you should be able to just renew the smell. If you would reapply to say one side after 2 weeks, then another side another week, etc, that should work. Try putting some on lightly but solid in an area, then some just in little circles around something and see if it matters. I have read where people are just putting it out on the ground in a line around the garden and having luck that way.

Good tip by: Anonymous
This is a good tip. I use milorganite anyway and will try using it to make a perimeter to stop the deer.
