We live in Roanoke County, VA. Moved from mid-Michigan where we had deer, but they weren't nearly as aggressive and were more selective about what they ate. I tried all of the things I used in MI as repellants, and the only thing I have found here is Deer Off. My neighbor uses it too, and our plants are all OK. Just have to apply it once a month or after a rain. Little bars of soap ar OK on fences, but the rodents eat them. The dog hair remedy doesn't work at all.
