during a mild winter when a buck keeps it's horns longer into the winter will it affect the horn growth the following fall?
From the webmaster: I don't think it will affect the next year since the process is chemical/hormone based and the buds are still there underneath. There is an excellent video on YouTube that explains how the whole process works. Go to the tab on this site for "Deer Antler Store" and watch the video.
